Macro

I chose this macro because it explains how I felt when I was revising my essay. I admit that sometimes it is very tiring going over an essay and seeing and thinking what does it need? What can I remove or add to make it better? The cat fell asleep which is what happens to me sometimes when I’m going over some homework or reading. I also do that to clear my head, and when I wake up I have ‘new’ ideas that I can do to my revision. Of course is my job as a student to do my homework, but I feel like sometimes I need a break and just sleep and do nothing. When I re-editing my essay I didn’t know what to do, so what I do was I closed the computer and just focused and gets all kind of distractions away from me. Another thing I do is sat in a chair instead of being at my bed, because that gets me sleepy. I don’t really enjoy revising I must admit that it is in fact kind of boring.

When I first started developing my genogram I wasn’t too sure about the conclusions or even the hypothesis of my study.
The purpose of my genogram was to chart in chronological order my journey through the literacy that could show the different developing stages of my learning and composition.
The chart was divided in progressive periods in my life each 2 years long. And running in parallel to my chronological chart was my parents own chart in the same periods of time.
In the beginning of my project i wasn't sure about the structure or the content of my project.
While developing the in a time structure manner i was able to describe in a linear way the evolution of my interaction with the written world, from my first steps in to learning to read up to my latest reading about fractals math and advance quiantic theories.
The graphic itself portrayed the time line flow of my self and my family and pointed out the evident connection in between what i was influenced for and what I was interested on doing.

Like the section of description and observation, that explains what is the purpose of the architectural design, in my case for example in the description section I put the part of focus cause to do a good read you have to be focus, to understand better, and in the section of observations I put the part of no distractions, cause it´s important to be only on the read and nothing else be bothering you, so this project works for architectures and engineers, because they are the ones that are used to work with this kind of design, and it would be easy to them to interpret it, for example in this case they at the moment they see the design, they will know that this it's the section that says what gonna be the details of the design.

We need to find a way to get students to like what they are doing in class and not to feel bored, because if that happens we fail as teachers. When a student is bored no information will get into his brain, contrary if the student is engaged with the reading or really into the class it wont even be necessary for a student to study too much for a test because they would remember almost everything (or at least important details) of the lesson. We are the responsible for that connection, w[j]e determine the way our students perceive a class. So it is really challenging to do that because not all of them are interested in the same things or some like to do things in a different way than others, etc.
The main purpose for a teacher is to inspire. Find the way to keep students entertain in class. To feel that they are really into the topic and make them participate. When a student shows no interest in class you will notice that no information will get into his brain even though you Try all the different techniques. It is a total challenge for a teacher to do this but it is not impossible.

I think that a lot of students might relate to the same problem that I have which is reading, when it comes to reading I need to be very focused and not distracted in order for me to understand it and enjoy it. For example for me my problem when it comes to reading articles is first of all the topic and the vocabulary. This a very connected because when you don’t like the topic you don’t want to understand the vocabulary and it seems very hard for you because you simply don’t like the article and then decide it not to read it. At the beginning I wanted to do a question or something related to music, because when I was younger I played the piano, so it was a big part of my life at that time, because I don’t play it anymore. And it was kind of difficult because I didn’t know what kind of project I was going to do; I wanted to do something really creative.

'What i did/im doing for my project one is showing how we learn through experience.
it it means like it says we learn by doing it experiencing it going through it. In my project im going to porve how we learn throught experience and also make my class mates expierce my point. im going to bring my accordion and play intros of songs (romantic/boleros, storries/corridos, and break up or downer songs) by playing music they dont know they will get a message accross by the rythim. for me an exapmle of that is when i started to listening to vallenato music or simply music from other places sometimes i dont know what they say but by the rythim i know if its a romantic song or not. when i play the intros of songs they are not going to know whats the song about but by the rythim they will now what type of song it is because they probably heard other romantic songs so by experiencing it before they will know what the song should be about. music is also another type of writting and reading like i mentioned we read the melody and lyircs and when we make a song or create the lyrics and rythim we are writting also another type of writting and music is a universal way of gettig messages across and not all writting is textual."

P1: Rewriting Paragraph
This project is mainly targeted to the instructors that make up standardized test prompts. Maybe they can learn from students test scores, they can realize that if a student is given the opportunity to write about what they know and what inspires them, they may just have amazing results in the writing areas. Each students inspiration comes from a different source or experience. For someone who is into games and graphics, a prompt on “ the influence of games into the learning environment” might interest them more than for someone who has never picked up a video game in their life. Another example would be for someone who is a sports fanatic, a prompt such as “ how can a playing a sport be an experience for a good writer and reader”. For some people, good writing is created when someone is frustrated, for others one must be happy and cheerful. Having differed topics or guides instead of narrow and one pointed prompts would be beneficial for many students. By rethinking the way prompts are made, and considering taking the students interest which will spark inspiration, maybe the standardized testing prompts wouldn't be so bad and overwhelming. If administrators could leave open ended prompts that allows the student to write about what they know or inspires them, they can easily achieve more. For these reasons I personally believe that students should be given the right to write about a topic they chose, It would make their writing much more interesting. It would be necessary to implement proper grammar and writing structure, which can be taught, on the other hand inspiration can’t. This just comes to show that inspiration is very hard to captivate, since we are all different types of learners and mainly influenced by different experiences, which build our own inspirations.

Teamwork is an important activitie that everyone need to have in their lives, the method of learning with the help of others is a grat idea that could have a big impact in our lives, this is so important that even tutors and teachers know that they make a big impact in our life, and that is why they try to make our learning easier and meaningful.

The reason why I chose a recipe book is because for us girls is pretty much easier to follow a recipe rather than just following instructions, because we know that when we follow a recipe we can mess around with it, we can add or take away some ingredients that may not be nessesary, or maybe they are for someone else, it is all about tastes and personal opinions about it.

Once i made some oatmeal raisin cookies following a recipe, but for my bad luck I didn't have enough oats for the cookies, so I messed up with the entire recipe, but the cookies were great! Like it or not students are encouraged to work in everything teachers assign them, but the thing is that I think that teachers can make their class more interesting for students. How does learning really happen?[a], Learning dosnt only happen in school?.learning has to be real for me. what bi mean about beign real is that i can acually be intrested in it or do something i feel i can relax[b]. i beleive that intrest has alot to do with some one learning.One example i think was useless in grade school ,middle school,and high school."TAKS" was so un real to me, i mean itwas something i thought was so boring not intresting . i didnt show me anything about writing or reading.okai maybe i feel like it didnt teach me anything because it was boring,but in reality i think it did show me or guide me in to the world of writing and reading because if i hadnt think the taks is boring un real,i wouldnt have been writing of how learning happens not only in school??[c] When i have to learn something unreal to me,i do feel overwhelmed and boring because its something that i think in the long run is useless.The reason why i say its usless because i mention the TAKS before i mean this test has been in my education for a long time but has it help in anything no beacuse i mean if it would of helped i would be an expert in taking test. and thats not what happen i mean i took the ACT and didnt meet the minumum requierment just by one point.

What I'm going trought right now is a reeexamination of the American culture ,it's highlights and its down sides. The more I'm exposed to it the more I learn and start comprehending the big mechanism that it is and how all of it parts come togheter for what the government has to do with the media whatsthe relationship between the economy or the capitalism with the founding fathers of this country and how sInce the American revolution The first settlements were about a company rather than colony's itself of England. It might doesn't make sence or coherent wright away, but every time I'm exposed to it's culture and learn more about it's foundations I start connecting the dots learn from it and also see where it's going.

I choose this macro because I don´t know how am I doing in my project, I want to just to shock, to rock with my project but I just don´t find the way, and also in a formal way because we are in college, it is not the same like when we were on middle school or high school, this has to be a good project, a good work. And also I´m like a little scared when I write new paragraphs cause I don´t know if it´s sounds eloquent , if it make senses, so I have to be sure more on what I am doing and the way I will develop, so I have to keep trying cause this, for me, it´s a very important class, not just for the grade, but the new things I´m learning, cause this is my first year semester here en US and I have never been assigned to much works in English, but this is good cause I think I have learned too much things, and develop to many skills too
I added this because, because it actually seems how I feel as I re-look on my editing. The work, I am doing well as I edit my work, but for parts I am really saying to myself, "wtf am I doing". The reason why is, that I seem to be going off subject in my work. Even now I had to erase a few lines on this work because of it. I been adding lines that seem to make sense, like for instance, I start writing a sentence but around the end it starts turning into this medieval battle. It really just going on and as it is, I almost look like cat in this picture, head tilted, eyes wide open, except for the smile look, I more into a gimace jaw open kind of thing. It's just really why did I put that in the first place kind of deals that are happening to me right now in the revision.

This Macro clearly represents what I go through when I have to do my writing on the projects. Sometimes I just run out of ideas. There is a lot of things I have to think about and just sometimes I don't know where to get more ideas. I think it is something that commonly happens maybe because you are under too much stress between work and your school. In our english class since we have to do a lot of writing we sometimes feel our brain wont give more words. When there are a alot of ideas going on in class we get tend to get lost and we feel our brain is full.
I don't think revising is much fun, I think is a boring part of writing. For me revising doesn't allow me to give much input to my own work, or at least i didn't think it did. And now I know I can i always add new ideas, but seeing as we did this a couple of weeks ago, it's a little hard to bring up new ideas that correlate with what I am trying to say. The feedback that I received was extremely helpful, but it's sometimes overwhelming because there are ideas from the question that were given to me in feedback but don't know how exactly to build it in with my previous writing. I almost feel like I want to start all over, and that's what i don't like about revising. I almost feel as though i should start over, building upon my work is hard for me. This picture shows how i feel because I feel overwhelmed and to a point bored of revising although i know it can only improve from what i have. I really do appreciate all the feedback which was given to me, and it is extremely beneficial to improve on my writing. But like i sais, it is overwhelming to take on so many questions and build upon my writing while incorporating new ideas and making them easily flow.

This picture is about cat representing a human phase because most of the time when we are watching television we are laying down and we don't want to do a thing. We want to ask for everything, food and in this case the cat is asking for the control remote. I suppose that the cat likes watching television instead of doing another thing. This is how I represent what is happening to me in the revision of this project, I've been lazy and I've preferred to do another thing because I can't get focus. Revision has been a problem for me because of many things like I didn't remember my theory so I was encouraged to reread the whole thing again. Revising is not fun at all and in my case this causes a lack of interesting in having things done. I preferred to watch TV or sleep and there is a point in all this process when I know there's no escape from completing the revision so I do everything at last minute. Also doing things at last minute doesn’t always allow me to do them great. I know that I can’t be lazy at this moment in the semester so I would make an effort and I will stand up from that couch for doing the work.

P1 REVISED
How does good teaching influence students to learn better ? What is Good Teaching? Good teaching includes all the techniques and ways a teacher use to get the message through the students in a way the student feels interconnected with the teacher and makes them feel like they are on the same page. Teaching is about engaging students or keeping your students interested. So if you like reading you will transmit that to your classmates in a way they will feel engaged with what they reading. If you engage students to their reading they will definitely understand better the lesson, so that is the main point for teachers how to do that, how to maintain your students engage to class. Good teaching demands engagement first from the teacher and then from the student. When that happens we have a good learning. Because if teacher nor student are engaged with the class, books, texts, so the learning will be poor. So that is when the real job of a teacher begins, you have to explore first the environment of your classmates, get to know what they like the most so you know what they will feel interested for.
Sometimes there will be occasions when students wont like what you have to teach for that day, or the topic itself but what if that topic is part of arequirement for the class? what you have to do is make it the more interesting possible, look for other ways for teaching the topic that will make it easier for students. When I was teaching first grade 4 months ago, I would use the adequate voice intonation and act out the reading for them, as you know children from 5 to 7 years will definitely feel interested in things like that. That caught the attention even of those who were distracted. I think that really worked because you get to characterize the moment, they feel like it is really happening, since they have good imagination that definitely worked. I know that because kids from that age are usually attracted to cartoons and stuff like that so they felt a good connection of humor and class. In that way that would help them to understand what was going on in the story and would comprehend better.
The reading books the students have have help a lot because these are books that have many pictures so that works best for children in that age. These books were bought by the school, we as teachers had a meeting before classes began to decide if the reading book was of our approval, which it was because it was a ver interacting set of books, it includes various activities for us to engage our students with the reading. Also, we used Story Cards which are cards that have only the pictures of the events of the story and we would developed a conversation based on the pictures, kind of like a summary based on pictures so that they would get involved with the characters and all the events.It became engaging because it helped them learn their way, playing, looking at pictures not only reading or writing. What we often did in class was like bring to life the characters of the story. One time we were reading about animals in the jungle so for homework they had to bring to class a mask of any animal of the story, so next they when we began reading i would make them make the sound of the animal they were representing. In that way they really felt excited about the story. They were feeling they were in their environment many games, fun, etc. so they actually learn by doing what they like the most.
There was this other time when I was talking to the parents in a teacher-parent session and I was telling the parents they need to encourage their children to read at home, because we will have exams every week to check the fluency of the student. So one parent told me "Oh yes my son is always telling me to buy new books because he says his teacher told him he needs to read books at home, and I think that is good that you as teacher motivate our children to read more". I really felt like I was accomplishing my goal because children will always do what their teacher tell them to do. So if I will influence them to read more at home they will do so, because when they are at that age they really respect the teacher and they feel like the teacher is a really important person in their lives. So I think that the engaging part is really working out in here, since it is important that students feel motivated about reading so I am like the source of their reading and writing knowledge. And that is a huge part in a students life to feel motivated and really liking what we are doing in class.
I had in my class a really smart kid that he would immediately understand what the story was about and he once came next to my desk and asked” Ms. Do you have to read all the books from school to explain the topics to us? And I answered “Yes I have to do a lot of reading” and then he said back “ Ms. So that means you really like reading, just like me!” I felt he really felt identified with me and that was like an inspiration for him to continue reading. I really love when I think about this moment because I feel like wow I was like his role model, so if I like reading he will do it also. So for me that is engaging, I connect him with reading and writing. Influence, identification and engagement are all interconnected, this are the keys for good teaching. One without the other will give a bad result in teaching.
We need to find a way to get students to like what they are doing in class and not to feel bored, because if that happens we fail as teachers. When a student is bored no information will get into his brain, contrary if the student is engaged with the reading or really into the class it wont even be necessary for a student to study too much for a test because they would remember almost everything (or at least important details) of the lesson. We are the responsible for that connection, we determine the way our students perceive a class. So it is really challenging to do that because not all of them are interested in the same things or some like to do things in a different way than others, etc.
So this is my theory which shows that your experience of reading can affect/ influence others because in that age specially first graders you can start building their reading attraction.
I made have a picture collage of students doing different activities in which they are rewarded because they met the reading goal of the month, which was for example to read 200 words in 2 minutes and so on. They really feel extra happy when they know they get rewarded because they did something good. What is going to happen is that they will do that over and over again so that they can be rewarded with different things, so what they will achieve will be a perfect fluency and a total comprehension of the lesson.
I think this project is for students so that they realize the importance of reading in their lives and how good teaching will definitely live a mark in their experiences.
Sometimes there will be occasions when students wont like what you have to teach for that day, or the topic itself but what if that topic is part of arequirement for the class? what you have to do is make it the more interesting possible, look for other ways for teaching the topic that will make it easier for students. When I was teaching first grade 4 months ago, I would use the adequate voice intonation and act out the reading for them, as you know children from 5 to 7 years will definitely feel interested in things like that. That caught the attention even of those who were distracted. I think that really worked because you get to characterize the moment, they feel like it is really happening, since they have good imagination that definitely worked. I know that because kids from that age are usually attracted to cartoons and stuff like that so they felt a good connection of humor and class. In that way that would help them to understand what was going on in the story and would comprehend better.
The reading books the students have have help a lot because these are books that have many pictures so that works best for children in that age. These books were bought by the school, we as teachers had a meeting before classes began to decide if the reading book was of our approval, which it was because it was a ver interacting set of books, it includes various activities for us to engage our students with the reading. Also, we used Story Cards which are cards that have only the pictures of the events of the story and we would developed a conversation based on the pictures, kind of like a summary based on pictures so that they would get involved with the characters and all the events.It became engaging because it helped them learn their way, playing, looking at pictures not only reading or writing. What we often did in class was like bring to life the characters of the story. One time we were reading about animals in the jungle so for homework they had to bring to class a mask of any animal of the story, so next they when we began reading i would make them make the sound of the animal they were representing. In that way they really felt excited about the story. They were feeling they were in their environment many games, fun, etc. so they actually learn by doing what they like the most.
There was this other time when I was talking to the parents in a teacher-parent session and I was telling the parents they need to encourage their children to read at home, because we will have exams every week to check the fluency of the student. So one parent told me "Oh yes my son is always telling me to buy new books because he says his teacher told him he needs to read books at home, and I think that is good that you as teacher motivate our children to read more". I really felt like I was accomplishing my goal because children will always do what their teacher tell them to do. So if I will influence them to read more at home they will do so, because when they are at that age they really respect the teacher and they feel like the teacher is a really important person in their lives. So I think that the engaging part is really working out in here, since it is important that students feel motivated about reading so I am like the source of their reading and writing knowledge. And that is a huge part in a students life to feel motivated and really liking what we are doing in class.
I had in my class a really smart kid that he would immediately understand what the story was about and he once came next to my desk and asked” Ms. Do you have to read all the books from school to explain the topics to us? And I answered “Yes I have to do a lot of reading” and then he said back “ Ms. So that means you really like reading, just like me!” I felt he really felt identified with me and that was like an inspiration for him to continue reading. I really love when I think about this moment because I feel like wow I was like his role model, so if I like reading he will do it also. So for me that is engaging, I connect him with reading and writing. Influence, identification and engagement are all interconnected, this are the keys for good teaching. One without the other will give a bad result in teaching.

Reflective Essay Project 1 Revised
Why is it o difficult for me to read school related articles but so easy to read my favorite magazine? The message I am trying to evoke is that I think almost every student goes thru the same kind of stuff, for example for me, when I have to read something sometimes I’m not interested in that topic at all, but I read it, and get distracted so easily due to the fact that I’m not interested in the topic, also because sometimes they are very lengthy. Because the vocabulary in a school article is sometimes very big, meaning different words, it is hard for me to understand. I wanted to compare the kind of magazines have and the ones that are school related. And the first thing that came to my mind when I asked myself that question, was first of all the topic, we all have different things that interest us, when sometimes an article has a topic that we don’t enjoy reading, we use any excuse to not read it and get distracted, the article needs to be very interesting and needs to catch my eye in order for me to read it and understand it. I think that a lot of students might relate to the same problem that I have which is reading, when it comes to reading I need to be very focused and not distracted in order for me to understand it and enjoy it. For example for me my problem when it comes to reading articles is first of all the topic and the vocabulary. This a very connected because when you don’t like the topic you don’t want to understand the vocabulary and it seems very hard for you because you simply don’t like the article and then decide it not to read it. At the beginning I wanted to do a question or something related to music, because when I was younger I played the piano, so it was a big part of my life at that time, because I don’t play it anymore. And it was kind of difficult because I didn’t know what kind of project I was going to do; I wanted to do something really creative. So that why I decided to use something that I still do, which is read my favorite magazines. I enjoy reading them because I like the topics they use, and they are very colorful and with lots of pictures, and that is something that a book/article doesn’t have. I started to read those magazines when I was in middle school. My favorite magazines are fashion related, that’s something that I really enjoy reading. Yes I do like to read books, but they have to be very interesting to me. For my thing I wanted to do something really creative, so I asked myself a question, what can I do that has something related to both school and magazine articles? I try to connect school readings to the magazine’s form because they are kind of more ‘fun’ for me to read, mostly because they are very creative and they catch my eye. What I did was I cut pages from magazines, like the cover and some of my favorite articles that were inside. I also used articles from some of my classes, like one from my economy class and the other from my English class from last semester. I pasted everything in colored pages and I put stuff that would make it look more like a magazine. I really think that I used my theory really well in my ‘thing’. It was kind of difficult to come up with the question, first of all because I didn’t know what topic to use. So I though that a magazine related question was a perfect fit for me. Not only because I enjoy reading them, but also because I would love to work for my favorite magazine when I grow up. I carry the magazines everywhere with me. I think that for our questions we all used school, writing and reading related questions. So I chose to use something related to reading, not only because everything we do is related to it, but also because I’m still learning and trying to improve my reading skills. We think and talk about writing and reading, because everything we do is involved with them, like driving, if you don’t like to drive you do everything wrong, and it really affects you, or just simply staring at something. Is like we are reviewing everything and while we are doing it we are reading and thinking in our heads, is like we are writing an essay. I really hope that when students read my question, they see what my point was and why I did it that way. And my point is that we all have different interests but we can all use our interest to improve our reading, like me, I use magazines, and try to read everything as if it were in one. I think that girls will be more interested in my project because most of them like magazines. I think that if academic articles were more colorful, had pictures the articles will be more appealing and more interesting, but that is just my opinion. I am a visual person so that’s why I find magazines more attractive. With this magazine I’m trying to appeal students visually. For people that are not interested in magazines, but they have trouble reading school related articles maybe articles with images and colors would be more appealing to them. The difference between appeal and interest is that appeal is something that you’re attracted to, and interest is something that you want to learn and have more knowledge about, is simply curiosity.
P1 Reflective Essay: REVISED
Many of us students are faced with standardized timed test that measure and want to determine our intelligence specially in writing and reading categories. Here in Texas, from an early age we are introduced to the TAKS, standardized test. In the future, college applicants are measured with other forms such as the SAT or ACT to prove their skills in reading and writing along with other subjects. Always an essay attached, one never failed to have to sit there trying to come up with a story based on the vague and sometimes limited prompt. Are these good ways to judge someones writing and reading skills? Do timed standardized test measure someones intelligence to its best?-Are standardized test a valid form for measuring how good a writer is, or does thoughtful good writing come from inspiration?
Good writing for me does come from inspiration, when i am asked to write on a topic that does not interest me or does not matter to me; my writing usually reflects that. Without inspiration, a writer lacks the thoughtful and interesting connections that are made from experience into the writing and reading universe. For me good writing can be described as inspired writing, if a student writes with interest then I think that the content is richer and more insightful; which in the end contributes to the idea that content is the primary and most important contribution to an A+ writing.
When I am given a prompt such as : Write about the person who you look up to the most. I am sometimes limited to the writing idea, maybe it’s the time or place; but inspiration may not be there. In the other hand, one could argue that a good writer is able to expand their mind and make the prompt relate to them.
In my project I decided to make the appearance simple, which in this case is the poster and get my point across by simply looking at main points of my idea. I made a poster illustrating the difference between an A and F paper. For me it had to be illustrated as an A paper consisting of inspiring prompts that the writer could relate to. I decided to point out important ideas that the audience needs to understand why I believe inspiration is important for a writer. I also wrote down points in which i thought what an F paper prompt lacked. This poster is focused for prompt writers, it targets them to think of a students perspective in standardized test writing.This brings up a new idea for my project. If good writing comes from inspiration, then a prompt must interest the writer.

The audience for this project is the most important thing because without them we can’t start creating our thing for the project. Let's start by describing my audience, in this project I will focus on school personal. The school personal is dedicated to their work and they should always try to learn new methods for making a better work for the school and even in daily life. School staff tries to use their experience and knowledge learned through the years in a search for better opportunities. For this and many reasons I decided I wanted to focus my project to school staff and in some way based on the research from project 2, I would try to give them something that can really help them by getting some kind of feedback that allows them to continue developing an excellent job. This guide or magazine is focused on all personal that really care about their work and not about mediocrity. What I try to do is give school personal a tool that that would help them develop a better work in order to increase their opportunities of having a better life by getting feedback about their work.
My project will be a magazine guide for school staff and will have as content information that will enable them to perform better at work and so get as far as possible in work. This magazine is not focused on teachers, because although they work for school, his work is focused on promoting education among students and this guide is full of motivations, ideas that make the staff have a better performance. This magazine will have a character guide and language appropriate for those who are going to run, so as the same purpose for readers to get feedback. The guide magazine will have different sections and in each there will be pictures that caught the attention of the reader, items that never get tired of reading and an overall test that will let you know your job performance. This guide magazine works in a way that when you read that leaves you thinking about things you do at work that you like, things you do not like as sharing your work area with a person who simply can´t tolerate or actually enjoy your work. The magazine is full of personal feedback for different types of workers. The purpose of this project is that school staffs have to read a tool that will allow them to reflect on their work and so can try new methods to overcome.
The document I am creating work-based people to reflect on their performance at work by pamphlet to help them in this process. I believe that having all the necessary information in this booklet as self tests, reflective items and innovative ideas that will allow the school staff to improve their performance and quality in their work every day. I chose the brochure as a means to convey my theory because I think that's the way most suitable, easy and always within the reach of all because it is a means of communication easy to distribute and share. For this reason I believe that the brochures is the best way to express how it is that school staff can get a self-test through these pamphlets. The relationship that my theory is the object that I'm making is that when you address an audience as large as the entire staff of a university there's nothing like a print medium in which to read, write so that they feel much more comfortable when they are doing their self test. The major part of the time the only school staff is dedicated to doing their job and not given time to see if you are doing right or wrong, even if they can even improve. The truth is that this is pamphlet principal objective is that the school staff analyzed each of their cases and depending on the type of problem can lead to this booklet that will have as content information to improve your work area. This project has to be a formal tool, easy to read, analyze and provide a huge help in feedback. What better way than a self-evaluation to demonstrate the quality of your effort in your daily work and so this pamphlet provide assistance to school staff.

Project 3
Audience, besides being the group of spectators at a public event or the people who read a particular piece of writing, is the group of persons who writers and speakers work for. During project two, my interest was based on the Audience and I founded a really interesting relation between it and the message that the author is trying to communicate. In this project two, I had the chance to do some research about this relation but now in project three I will have the opportunity to show a specified example of how does this relation works and what can be done to have a better result. My message will be to create a balance between the audience and the message itself. If a person wants to communicate or transmit a statement, an idea or even tell a story, whenever this someone writes or speaks should focus on these two things in order to succeed because without an audience the message will be not worth it at all and without a message the audience would not exist at all. It is very important to have this balance in order to succeed, to create an impact on the audience and to receive a good response from it.
For this project three I decided that my audience will be public speakers, specifically, motivational speakers. I chose them because as I’ve said before my interest on project two was focus on the audience and I believed that the ones that care the most about it are the public speakers. Motivational speakers, also known as inspirational speakers, are the people who make speeches in order to motivate and inspire people to do something or to stop doing something, depending on the subject. Motivational speakers do not only value the audience by itself, but they value all the things that surrounds it, for example they value the response they get from the audience, the result and the changes they see on it at the end of a presentation and last but not least, the feedback they get from it. Unlikely other public speakers, motivational speakers have to go deeper before, during and after the presentation. They have to do lots of research and investigations in order to give value to what they are saying, they have to have confidence on themselves so the audience will believe what they are saying, and they really have to show interest on what they are working, they have to show the audience that for them it’s not only a job or a work but something they enjoy doing it. Having all of these things they will motivate and inspire the audience and the balance between the audience and the message will work perfectly.
After passing through some other ideas I decided that my public document will be a questionnaire directed to motivational speakers. This questionnaire will be like a “checklist” and it would contain a list of the primary basis of a speech. For example it would have questions such as “Have you practiced?” “Do you believe on what you’re saying?” “Do you have real examples?” I will make it really easy for motivational speakers due to the lack of time they have before appearing on stage and they will only have to put a checkmark on a little box that will be place after each question or point marked on the checklist. I believe this is a great and helpful tool to motivational speakers because besides being an easy tool, with this, they would make sure they have completed all things needed to present their speeches. These questionnaires will be placed on the theatres, convention centers, class rooms, etc. and motivational speakers won’t take more than five minutes answering them.
Using a questionnaire goes beyond only asking the motivational speakers about having all the material prepared and all the research done. Using a questionnaire is like a little “extra” to see if the speaker has acquired the balance between what they are going to talk about and to whom they are going to talk. By using this little checklist, inspirational speakers will have the opportunity to see if everything its working correctly or if they are missing something. The relation that exists between the motivational speakers and the audience is stronger than other type of relation between the speaker and the audience. This strong and deep relation occurs because mainly, other speakers only talk to communicate something or to express something. What happens with motivational speakers is that they do not only do their work because they have to do it, but they really enjoy doing it and they have not only the desire but the ability to do it. If motivational speakers exists is because audiences need them. Most of the people need a role model to follow, someone that is strong, courageous and with confidence and that’s what this speakers primary are. To become a motivational speaker, you do not only need to do the research and have the ability but to really pay interest and concentrate your attention on the audience in order to help them. By providing this little checklist to the speakers they will have the chance to improve their presentations and to develop a better speech. By having all these things together and working correctly not only the audience will be the one receiving something and improving themselves but the motivational speakers will feel and see the effectiveness of their speeches projected on the results and would continue working and improving their skills in order to help more people.

My principal audience would be the editors of a book because they are the ones who design de the books, and my theory is “how does form of a book, affects the student learning”, so this project is for them, the editors, they are the one who publishes the books, and all the learning magazines, pamphlets, etc. I think they are only focus on putting what is the important information on books, but not anyone knows how, because they just put it but not in that order that the student will understand, and I think they should be a way, cause not all the books are directed for the same gender, some are for kids, other for all type of students, since kindergarten to college students, so they have to make a analysis to which audience they are directed, and the editors also have to know what would be their goals in a book, not just put bunch of information in no order, they have to do a plan of how the will impact on their audience, but not all the editors are wrong, cause I have seen books that are well explain and they teach you step by step. And I think they should care, the largest market is the schools, since kindergarten to college, and they should take care of one opinion because we, the students, consequently are their principal buyers, and my theory is simple, just do researches to the students of the different topics that they do books, for a better work, that satisfies the student, and makes efficient a self study.
For this project I will do a formal letter, to send it to the editors, explaining the my theory, and I choose this cause is a formal way, and it´s so probably to read instead of another thing, and basically there is three parts in a formal letter: the layout, style of language and the purpose.
I think that just with this three parts I will nail my theory, cause it would be a seriously letter, with a formal style of language and my purpose is giving them tips of how it has to be the form of a book for different type of students, since children thru college students, and the different types of topics, what to focus on each topic, so I think this is a good way to get to my audience that in this case are the editors of the books, and cause I know they are serious people I know this is a good way to catch them, so in this project I will focus on books that their main topics are math or physics cause this are the subjects that I am habitual to work, and in this letter I will send them a good example of one good book, that all is clear and step by step, and another example that is all messy and unclear, there is not problem if the book is all messy when you have a teacher cause the teacher is the intermediary and he knows what he is teaching because for something he is what he is, but when is time to study by your own, this is difficult and more is the book is not clear, and finally in this letter I will give them some advices of how it should be edited a book, step by step, with the more examples that it can be for all the cases of each problem, different kind of exercises that not only focus on the actual topic, but also on the topics that have seen previously, for keep practicing what the student had learned.

So in this project I am focus on editors, cause they are the ones in charge of giving the form style on a book, and I will send them a formal letter to letting them know what are what students are expecting on a book, of all different topics, but I am going to focus on books about math and physics, cause this are the ones I more use, and I know what are the better books of this kind, they have to be step by step and lots of examples for each chapter, like I explain previously on this project, and the connection for this project I think that the editors should take seriously this kind of opinion because, we the students are the biggest market for them, and the teachers, school staff, etc, are searching for books that are not too difficult for understand, because actually there is one system that is boom gripping, the open system, and in this system they are not professors, well they are, but is not the same, cause they are not in front of you teaching how to solve problems, and online is so difficult to understand, so there is the need of good books that are well explain, cause imagine if the students are supported of a book that is a messy and unclear, they will not learn nothing, and this system will not have success, and this is just one good example of why do student needs books that are easy to understand also for the topics that are more difficult to understand, the editors should find the easier way to explain a problem, so a good book has to been good structured and not mix the topics, if they are not attached, mainly this are the main ideas of my project and I think that with this formal letter I will get them concerned on what they have to focus on their new books or in the new editions of the books that they already have, cause their principal goal, as the teachers, is to show the student how to solve different kind of problems by the more possible easier way it can be. And my theory should gave them ideas to work on.
