Homework (RE)minder

Print out and start reading the Downs and Wardle article(link: Article Download). If you can't access it off the Readings links, no worries, I'll email the article to everyone tonight. It's being glitchy, but we'll work around it. :) Make sure to check the email you used to sign up for the blog cus that's the one I'll be emailin'. Bring the printed article to class on Monday.

As you begin to read the article start thinking about some of the ways you began to define and redefine the title and choice words in class. Take note when the authors mention those ideas. :)

If you haven't done so, scroll down and sign up to for a Discussion Team. Each Discussion Team will lead us in discussion of one of the articles we'll be reading this semester. Everyone needs to sign up as it's for your discussion grade. Each article can have up to four Team members so if there are already four people signed up for a Team you'll have to choose a diffrent one. Sorry. First come, first serve. :P You only have to sign up for one team. :)

I'd also like you guys to go back and look over the syllabus and/or think about writing and the way we've begun to REthink writing. Come up with some questions you'd like me to answer or even questions you'd like your peers to answer and post them as comments to this post: http://1320130174d.blogspot.com/2011/01/hello-everybody.html

See you guys Monday and DON'T FORGET: Bring your printed out copies of the Downs and Wardle article on Monday!

Hello Everybody!

Welcome all to our class blog! We'll be using this blog religously this semester so I want you guys to get really comfortable with it! We'll start by simply asking a couple of questions about the class, the syllabus or what writing is. Comment to this post with your questions and, to step it up a noch, begin answering each other's questions. :)
