Homework For our Three Day weekend!
REVISE AWAY PEOPLE!
Make sure your traded email info with your peers! Login to google docs at home and continue providing them with feedback! I'm willing to drop all over workshop grades and give everyone the full 15 points based soley off this feedback, but I need to see it done!
Once you've given your peer-response partner your email and they've shared their paper with you go in and use the questions on the blog to guide your feedback to them! You can write your feedback directly onto their paper on google docs! Remember to sign your name somewhere on there too so I can give you the proper credit!
Feedback is due Thursday night at midnight so that everyone has the oppurtunity to revise during the weekend! Trade phone numbers if you have to! Get on your partners butts to complete and get work up!
Once you've recieved feedback:
Go back and read over the feedback you received from me, from your peers in class and from the interns(through email) and revise your work! Most of us are revising P1 and P2! Work on these two over the weekend! Return to your folder in google docs and revise both!
For P1 you will also need to revise your THING. I will accept mock-ups! That means you don't have to go about completely REcreating your work, but instead can draw what you would like it to look like! Remember though a mock up is more than a drawing, you'll have to label it's parts, describe on it how it works.
P1 must have revisions for Proposal, THING, Reflective Essay,
P2 must have revisions for Proposal, Research Essay, and REflective essay.
You're reflectie essay and your reflective essay for P2 will show up in your google docs folder Thursday night. How do you revise your reflective essay for P2? We're just gone through and EXTENSIVE feedback process and revision, you can revise your essay to include that conversation as well.

Just let me PASS!! D8
Okay, so we're down to the wire and we need to know what we need to pass this course. So here's what you need(mind you this is what you need to JUST pass 1320 and/or 1301 with Cs. Porfolio's are graded on quality, so this projection makes the assumption that you're Portfolio will have been revised thoughtfully and effectively and thus is an A. If you do not revise and improve upon your work you will not recieve the full A.
An A portfolio gives you 60 points, a 60. The other 40 points come from completeing blogging, journals, discussion, workshops and SQRs. if you turn in an A portfolio and have completed all blogs, journals, SQRs(quality grade As) and discussion you will recieve an A. If you haven't I would suggest focusing on getting your SQR grades up, turning them in and revising them if needed!
To Pass 1301, with a C minimum:
A portfolio must include:
Drafts of
P1 (Proposal, Thing, Reflective Essay)
P2 (Proposal, Research Essay, Reflective Essay)
P3 (Proposal, Mock up, Reflective Essay)
Two Full Project Revisions:
Most challenging Project (Proposal, Project, Reflective Essay)
Best Work Project (Proposal, Project, Reflective Essay)
P4 completed
and All SQRs with a Check or Check +
Miss just one of these things and you will Fail 1301!
*completing all work for portfolio does not gauarantee you an A portfolio, but it does raise your chances. I'll be grading you on your revision! That means I'll be grading you on how well your carried out your revision. did you think about your purpose for writing, was it reflected in your revision choices, did you reconsider what your ideas were and how you were expressing them?
To Pass 1320
A Portfolio must include:
A draft (proposal, project ,reflective essay) of one project, your choice (P1, P2, P3)
A revision of that project (proposal, project, reflective essay)
P4 completed
All SQRs Check or Check Plus grade!
Miss just one of these things and you will Fail 1320!

reflective essay p3
the theory for my project 2 was how does interest and prior knowledge affect our learning and way of giving meaning. this project is mainly going to bee for persons who drive that would bee teens through adults. for this project i did a poster. this poster i will ask a question and show several pictures. by asking a question "choose your keys?" by having of showing a diffrent vierty of pictures each picture is diffrent and by being diffrent each person is going to give their own diffrent personal meaning and each is going to have a diffrent reason to have choosen that keychain. for example if i choose one with a guitar because i play the guitarr i love music and the guitar is something theat represents me. by the persons doing this my ping has been proven on how intrest and prior knowledge/experience affects our meaning on things.
p3 essay
Have you ever wonder why poems are writting in a certain form? Even though my idea has change in a weird way . i have changed the whole concept now beacuse as i was doing my reascher i have realized that Form aids interpertation .I came to thias idea because the expirement i did its conclusion did like a loop whole and it led me to wanting to know if form had anything to do with interpertation. so therefore the audience I have chosen are poetry writers/readers because people that know write or read poetry are more famliar when i say . form aids interpretation ..and in order to read or create something you must have a form to start off with ? And I believe that if people become aware of this it will help them understand and interpret the meaning better. I have chosen this audience because they must be aware of how form changes someones interpretation .. I think if you do a poem with out form your not goin to be able to understand the meaning . But when u use form u knw what to expect and read. in the audience analyisis i mentioned. who i am goin to use buit now i explain why them?? i mean this type of people could find my idea interesting or maybe they will just disagree but i think i chossen the right people.
The audience i have chossen are artist not the ones that sing ,but the ones that create and love to paint ,and use everything in their surroundings to make something you can admire or inspire yourself.Today some artist host art gallerys and poems books that are published.what i think they value are their imagination and inspiration.of course and their poems and all their creation.some express themselves through this type of writing and reading i mean most people think that artist are a waste of time but i dont think so,cause their the ones that use stuff that we think useless and create master piece .with either their writing or the way the talk or read..
What im creating is a poster board a poster board is use for projects like science fair just for collages and all that fun stuff??
some people think that poster boards are boring because its just a piece of card borad, thats white ..all dulll... but mine poster board is guna be color full and its going to try and explain and show the diffrence between the poems with form with another one that has no form...and im trying to show them have that helps people read poems.. i think how im goin to potray this idea is try and go analyisis a poem from a bulliten board at cafe..and see how that form and try to explain it.. i just want to get their attention by probably me reading and recting a poem with form an another one with out form .. beause probably by me doing this their goin to see that what am talking about and really want to know that waht im trying to say is true or maybe not .. it helps my aduidnce understand that interpertaion has alot to do with form or visversa .
I really want to know iof my idea is any help to them. i mean i think it would be great if they can relate to my idea or maybe they could stop think of my idea and probably as they think about it.they could engage in it and probably they would want to try and expirement it and try to prove it to themselves . like i did to myself.. thats how i came to this conclusion that Form aids interpertation. I really want to see if my idea can grow and maybe it can change maybe theirs a loop whole and create a new concept of my theory.. but i just have to wait and see ,what my adudience have to say??

Alan Guajardo P3
My message is to help new athletics that want to be successful. My audience would be athletics that want to improve their abilities be learning some new strategies. My public document could be offering camps where couches can teach athletics. I will post some directions where athletics can go.
My audience for this project are people that are athletes that want to success on any sport, they could be boys and girls and the approximately age could be from high school to athletes from college. With this project I want to help athletics to continue and develop more abilities that can help them to reach the next level of their sport, for example for the kids from high school we can help them to develop their best abilities and that way they can have bigger opportunity to be watch by couches from different colleges and that way they can earn different scholarships and have more opportunities to have a better future, and it could be also for college athletes , and this the most important audience, because if they learn what they need to learn they could go and play with professional teams, and also on this program we can provide athletes agents that can help them find a good team, I think that the sport that I need to focus on is football because this is the sport were athletes need to have more strategies and strategies really important that can help them improve their abilities.
On my document analysis I am talking about the strategies that the athletes should learn and also I explain how it works depending on the categories and different parts of the game, I also talk about the schedule that I am going to have, and the categories that we have and how we separate the athletes depending on their sport and position, on my document I also explain the kind of training that each athlete should practice, and also we teach them to use the strategies on the best situations to have a better performance, on my document I also affirm that I have some of the best coacher in the world and that they are able to help the athletes, I also explain that we count with many fields of different sports, but something of the more important is that we bring coaches from different colleges that can look at high school athletes to help them with different scholarships to go and play with their college, and also we have coaches from different professional teams that can look at college athletes that have the potential to be on a professional team a have a complete carrier where he can get pay.
On my document I use some strategies that could be attractive for some athletes, for example something that I can use are some pictures of athletes training with us and also some fraises that can be inspirational for athletes for example “do you want to reach your dreams, come and we teach you the strategies to be on the next level of the game”, I think this is one of the best way to have the attention of the audience because so many young athletes dream about playing on their favorite college team or on their favorite professional team, something that can be very helpful on my document is to have statements from professional athletes explaining the proses of coming a recognizes athlete through our training and strategies, for example explaining that this is an easy process that any person can done and see notable results at the end, and this is good because the audience want to heard that it is easy and that they can have big improvements on shorts amount of time. I also want to show some pictures, on my document, of some professionals and important athletes that are on the program to help the athletes with their abilities and with their strategies; this is something that would be very helpful because the young athletes want to meet important figures and also want to be teach by them, so this would encourage athletes to come and learn something that could help them.
