Document Analysis

While I’m still not sure what my public document is going to be I want to create something for children between ages 5 to 7. So it is for girls that are and like creativity. And it is not for boys; well it might interest some of them if they like to be creative. What I think I’m planning on doing is something with drawings and for girls to color them; I think I want to do it with very girly colors. I’m still not sure how I’m going to give them the message about note taking, because kids of this age don’t really take notes, they are more interested in playing so I have to figure out a way of making it very fun and playful for them. I really want to send out the message that note taking does improve your learning, and it is very important for them to take notes on their future, maybe not in kindergarten but in high school, middle school, etc.

  1. First of all you need to indentify what it is you want create. Get your ideas together and figuere out what it is exacly you want convey. Maybe all of thi will work great with your audience analysis, it can make it much better. It is interesting how your audience is note taking, how do children use note taking at that age? Do they do it when they learn? Or during play time? Do you think that with colors kids learn better? Visual note takers? Just try to focus your ideas by analyzing what it is you want to convey and who your audience is.
